The silver medalist of the 2022 Olympics, Aleksandra Ignatova (Trusova), has revealed that she has taken up ballet. She is currently nine months pregnant and is soon expecting to welcome her baby.

The athlete previously shared that her doctors have approved her to begin training. At this stage in her pregnancy, the health of her child won’t be at risk in case of an early birth. Following this news, Trusova returned to the gym for the first time in several months.

To recap, Aleksandra and Makar Ignatov got married in August 2024. Earlier this winter, news of her pregnancy was announced. In early April, the figure skaters held a gender reveal party, where it was revealed that they are expecting a boy. Reports indicate that, based on the timeline, Sasha is expected to give birth to her first child this summer.
