“I believe that everything he expressed after my departure and after Karpin’s exit was driven by emotions. I had no issues with him. He can call me anytime, and I’d be pleased. However, the final decision was mine; I justified my disagreements or aligned with alternative views when I saw fit. Roland, Mario, and Ade always had the chance to contribute their ideas.

Now, Roland will be responsible for everything: the team, the locker room, and the medical staff. The pressure will be on him to deliver results in every match. Being an assistant and being the head coach are two very different roles. I wish Roland all the best in his efforts to elevate Dynamo as high as possible in the standings.
