Former Bellator champion from Russia, **Andrei Koreshkov**, shared his thoughts on the upcoming UFC lightweight title fight (up to 70 kg) between Georgian fighter **Ilia Topuria** and Brazilian **Charles Oliveira**, scheduled for June 29 at UFC 317 in Las Vegas, USA.

“It’s clear that Topuria will be the obvious favorite in the match against Oliveira. However, we shouldn’t overlook one of Charles’s notable traits—he always fights until the end and is willing to endure. Oliveira has strong technique, and being a southpaw can make things tricky for Topuria. Additionally, Ilia won’t have a significant size advantage, which raises the Brazilian’s chances compared to lighter fighters from 66 kg.

Oliveira possesses excellent grappling skills. If he can survive the first two rounds, his chances of winning will significantly improve. I would bet on his victory in the later rounds, either by submission or knockout,” said Koreshkov, as reported by MMA.Metaratings.ru.
