In his celebration, Alcaraz mimicked the gesture of fellow countryman and two-time Formula 1 champion **[Fernando Alonso](https://www.example.com/tags/449-fernando-alonso/)**.

During his championship seasons in 2005 and 2006, Alonso, racing for the Renault team, frequently celebrated his Grand Prix victories by striking a similar pose on his car.

After the match, Alcaraz shared a collage of his celebrations on social media, confirming the nod to the racing driver.

Currently, Fernando is driving for Aston Martin and is participating in the pre-season tests in Barcelona.
