Photos of the facade and interior of the future school for the 2018 Olympic champion Alina Zagitova have emerged. The school is still set to be constructed in Kazan on Portovaya Street, at the site of the Vodnik Stadium.

Earlier reports suggested that the project might be canceled due to high costs. However, according to Business Online, efforts are now being made to reduce the project’s expenses and ensure the opening of the arena.

“The authorities in the republic are working to optimize the design while maintaining the center’s functionality and meeting Alina Zagitova’s expectations,” the report states.

Zagitova is notable for being the only Russian figure skater and the second in the world, following Kim Yuna, to have secured all titles in the sport, including the prestigious Grand Slam.
