Six-time Grand Slam champion and current world number one, Spanish tennis player **Carlos Alcaraz**, celebrated his victory in the 2026 Australian Open semifinals against German player **Alexander Zverev**, winning with scores of 6-4, 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (3-7), 6-7 (4-7), 7-5. In his celebration, Alcaraz mimicked the gesture of fellow countryman and two-time Formula 1 champion **[Fernando Alonso](https://www.example.com/tags/449-fernando-alonso/)**.

During his championship seasons in 2005 and 2006, Alonso, racing for the Renault team, frequently celebrated his Grand Prix victories by striking a similar pose on his car.
