The Olympic champion of 2018, **[Alina Zagitova](https://link-to-profile)**, expressed her gratitude to the audience who attended the premiere of her ice show “Assol,” which took place yesterday, June 27, in St. Petersburg.
“My friends, it happened! The premiere of ‘Assol’ was a success. We had a sold-out show today, and there were plenty of ovations—so many ovations! We all gave it our all, pushing ourselves to the limit. (There are still tickets available) for the 2 PM show, but the evening performance is already sold out. So make sure to grab your tickets! I’m looking forward to seeing you all. See you soon!” Zagitova said in a video shared on her personal social media accounts.
Zagitova is the only Russian figure skater and the second in the world, after Kim Yuna, to have won all major titles in figure skating, often referred to as the “Grand Slam.” She retired from competitive sports in 2019.
