Young Footballer Compares Winning Euro 2024 to Passing School Exams

The winger of Catalonia’s FC Barcelona, Lamin Yamal, shared his thoughts on whether it was easier for him to pass school exams or to win Euro 2024. During the tournament, held in Germany, Yamal was still attending school. Spain emerged as the European champion by defeating England in the final.

“For me, winning Euro was easier because I did it on my first try (laughs),” Yamal’s statements were quoted by the social media account X (formerly Twitter), referencing a Chinese show.

On July 13, Yamal turned 18. He has been part of the first team at Barcelona since 2023 and has already secured four trophies with the club: two La Liga titles, a domestic cup, and a Supercup.
