Russian champion as part of Dynamo, world champion Maxim Afinogenov commented on the appointment of Roman Rotenberg to the board of directors of the Moscow club.

“I can share my perspective as someone for whom Dynamo is a home club. I started here, played for it, and finished my playing career with this team. I’ve even brought my son to Dynamo’s hockey school. Over the past few years, hockey has changed significantly and is rapidly evolving: both the game itself and the approach to training have transformed.

Recently, I met with Roman Borisovich, and we discussed these topics extensively. We share the same vision on how a youth sports school should operate and how the training process should be structured in line with modern trends,” Afinogenov told Championship.

The Moscow Dynamo announced Roman Rotenberg’s appointment as a member of the club’s board of directors on July 1. He will focus on developing youth and junior hockey programs.
