Tragic Blaze Claims Life of Woman in Plumstead Mid-Terrace Fire

A woman has lost her life following a house blaze in south-east London.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) reported that they were alerted to a fire at a mid-terraced house on Nithdale Road in Plumstead at 1:48 AM BST.

Firefighters managed to save the woman from the building, but she was declared deceased at the scene by the air ambulance team.

The LFB, along with the Metropolitan Police, is currently looking into the cause of the fire.
