A 15-year-old boy tragically lost his life after encountering difficulties in a lake located in south-east London.

Authorities, including the Metropolitan Police, fire service, and paramedics, were dispatched to Beckenham Place Park in Lewisham shortly after 3 PM on Friday, April 4, following reports of a missing boy.

On Saturday, the police announced that the search for the boy, initially estimated to be 16 years old but now confirmed to be 15, had been called off.
