Former RPL referee Igor Fedotov shared his thoughts on the officiating of the match between Lokomotiv and CSKA in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League. The game took place at the RZD Arena and ended in a 2-2 draw.

“It was a tough match, but Chistyakov did a good job. There were many challenges, a lot of complaints, and pressure on the referee. Chistyakov handled the situation well and applied the same standards to both teams,” Fedotov commented in an interview with Championship correspondent Mikhail Rozhdestvensky.

As a reminder, CSKA is currently in third place in the standings of the Russian Premier League for the 2024/2025 season, while Lokomotiv occupies the sixth position.
