Forward of the San Jose Sharks, **Macklin Celebrini**, shared his experience of interacting with the captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins, **[Sidney Crosby](https://www.sports.ru/tags/823-sidni-krosbi/)**, during the World Championship. Both players are representing Team Canada and are on the same line. Celebrini is 18 years old, while Crosby is 37.

“At first, I referred to him as Mr. Crosby. But he quickly corrected me: just call me Sid,” Celebrini told Sports Illustrated.

Team Canada topped Group A. In the quarterfinals of the hockey World Championship, Canada will face Denmark. This match is scheduled for May 22. The World Championship 2025 will take place from May 9 to 25.

It’s worth noting that Celebrini has just completed his rookie season in the NHL with the Sharks.
