Former French national team and Arsenal player Gaël Clichy shared his thoughts on the current performance of the London club and their head coach, Mikel Arteta.

“Mikel Arteta has changed how people perceive Arsenal. In the Premier League, if you don’t utilize physical strength and set pieces, you’re in big trouble. Mikel has done what he believes is necessary for Arsenal to succeed. They are at the top of the league, yet there are still those who claim they aren’t playing as they should. That’s nonsense. Arsenal’s approach is clear: winning trophies is what matters most. Whether the play is beautiful or not, the fans will be happy,” Clichy said, as reported by The Athletic.
