High-Speed Poppy Train Launches in Honor of Remembrance Day, Connecting London to Kent

A train featuring a poppy-themed design has been launched in honor of Remembrance Day.

The Class 395 is adorned with poppy illustrations and the silhouettes of military personnel.

It will operate on the high-speed line connecting London St Pancras International to the Kent coastline as Remembrance Day approaches.

Southeastern, the rail operator, is also aiding the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal, with volunteers present at 70 key mainline and underground stations throughout the city.

Alex South, the head of human resources at Southeastern, stated: “We take pride in honoring the legacy of both past and present Armed Forces members.

“We remain committed to supporting the Armed Forces community, including active personnel, reservists, cadet forces, veterans, and their families.”
