Condition Update on Arseniy Gritsyuk Following Injury, Says NJ Devils Coach

The Russian coach of the New Jersey Devils, Sergey Brylin, shared an update on the team’s forward Arseniy Gritsyuk, who suffered an injury.

“Gritsyuk mentioned that he is feeling better. I hope he will be able to get back on the ice in the upcoming games. We are currently facing an injury epidemic, and his absence is being felt. We are optimistic that he will heal, get some rest, and come back at full strength,” Brylin was quoted by TASS.

This season, the 24-year-old forward has participated in 31 games, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists. Gritsyuk was drafted by New Jersey in 2019 in the fifth round with the overall 129th pick. In the KHL, he played for Avangard Omsk and SKA St. Petersburg.
