BrindAmour Praises Team Effort in Thrilling Comeback Victory Over Capitals

The head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, **Rod Brind’Amour**, commented on the team’s victory in the first match of the series against the Washington Capitals (2-1 in overtime). The Hurricanes were trailing 0-1 until the middle of the third period.

“I believe our guys played tough every shift right from the start of the game. I was pleased with our performance. Obviously, we were behind on the scoreboard, but we had a clear plan in place, which both teams did. I think we executed it well tonight. Sometimes you don’t get rewarded for your efforts, but today we did,” Brind’Amour stated, as quoted by the team’s press service.

The second match in the series will take place on the night of May 9 at the Capitals’ arena.
