Briarcliff Entertainment has unveiled the trailer for the film “The Mourning”. The horror movie featuring Benedict Cumberbatch in the leading role is set to premiere in Russia on **November 20**.

The film is adapted from a book by Max Porter. The narrative centers around an illustrator who becomes a widower and is tasked with raising his two sons. At a turning point in his life, he encounters a mysterious entity that feeds on his fears and seeks to dominate him.

In addition to Cumberbatch, the cast includes David Thewlis (“Jesse Cave”), Sam Spruell (“The Golden Age”), and Jessie Cave (“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”). The director is Dylan Souther, known for his work on “Nothing Left to Aspire To”.
