Former football player and coach of Zenit, **Vladislav Radimov**, explained why he chose **Yaroslav Gladyshev**, the forward from Moscow’s Dynamo, as the best player of the Russian Premier League for April. During the four matches in April, Gladyshev scored four goals.
“His breakthrough performances and goal tally have been the highlight of the month and the entire spring. He scores not only against mid-table teams but also against sides like Zenit, playing a crucial role in the process. The only downside is that if he could convert even a third of the chances created by his teammates and himself, he would be the top scorer of the league by now. Gladyshev’s progress is evident, and this month he is undoubtedly the best player,” Radimov stated, as reported by the official website of the RPL.
In the current season, Gladyshev has played 36 matches for Dynamo across all competitions, contributing 13 goals and seven assists. His contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2026. After 27 matches played, Dynamo sits in fifth place in the RPL standings for the 2024/2025 season, with a total of 50 points.
