The 75th-ranked tennis player from Kazakhstan, **[Alexander Bublik](https://www.example.com)**, has achieved his first career victory over a top-10 ATP player at a Masters tournament. In the third round of the competition in Madrid, Spain, Bublik triumphed over the world’s eighth-ranked player, Russian **Andrey Rublev**, with a score of 6-4, 0-6, 6-4.

Prior to his victory against Rublev, Bublik had suffered seven defeats in as many matches against players from the top ten. It’s noteworthy that Rublev was the reigning champion of the Madrid tournament.

In the fourth round of the tournament in the Spanish capital, Bublik will face the winner of the match between Ben Shelton (USA) and Jakub Menšik (Czech Republic).
