Forward of “Amur,” **[Yaroslav Likhachyov](https://www.championat.com/tags/35537-yaroslav-lihachyov/)**, shared his thoughts on why he struggled to secure a place in the “Lokomotiv” lineup.
**– You had a successful preseason, but things didn’t click during the regular season. What do you think happened?**
– The preseason was indeed good, and I played in the Opening Cup, where I had a fairly decent match… I can’t really say for sure; it’s a tough call. Perhaps the coaching staff had their reasons. They just didn’t see me fitting into the lineup.
**– So, you didn’t really have the chance to properly demonstrate your abilities at “Lokomotiv”? You only played two matches in a month.**
– I only truly had one full game. I also had a couple of shifts in the second match.
**– Was there something lacking during the training sessions? Did you have difficulty adapting to Hartley’s game model?**
– Again, I can’t be certain. That’s up to the coaching staff’s perspective—any inquiries should be directed to them, Likhachyov told Championship correspondent Rustam Imamov.
