Two-time Olympic champion Alexei Kasatonov stated that the issue with the “Shanghai Dragons” lies in their short bench.

“The Dragons are demonstrating excellent gameplay. It’s truly an outstanding start to the season. Gallant is a skilled coach, and there’s no doubt about that. They first defeated SKA, and then managed to win against Lokomotiv. However, their bench is quite limited, which will be a challenge for them. What I appreciate about this team is that they have brought in some solid Canadian players. This will certainly make things easier for Gallant. In the KHL, every team’s goal is to reach the playoffs,” Kasatonov’s words were quoted by “Sovetsky Sport.”
