Alcaraz Withdraws from Davis Cup Match Against Denmark Due to Fatigue

Six-time Grand Slam champion, Spanish tennis player **Carlos Alcaraz**, will not participate in the second round of the 2025 Davis Cup for the Spanish team in their match against Denmark, as reported by journalist José Morgado on his social media account.

It has been revealed that Alcaraz has opted out of the Davis Cup match against Denmark due to psychological and physical fatigue following his victory at the 2025 US Open, where he triumphed over Italian player Jannik Sinner with scores of 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.

The match between Spain and Denmark is scheduled to take place in Marbella, Spain, from September 13 to 14.

The second round of the 2025 Davis Cup will feature 14 teams, with the tournament’s final stage set to occur from November 18 to 23.
