According to the Metropolitan Police, a man has been accused of murder following the fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old in east London.

Tyler Hayward was found with a stab wound on Chingford Mount Road in Waltham Forest and died at the scene on Sunday evening.

On Tuesday, Peshman Ahmedi, a 22-year-old with no permanent residence, was taken into custody on murder charges and later formally charged.

He is currently being held in custody and is expected to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
