The encounter, which took place on Sunday in Paris, ended with a dramatic victory for Alcaraz, finishing with scores of 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-7 (3-7), and 6-7 (2-10). The Spaniard was trailing 0-2 in sets at one point.
