The legendary forward and former coach of Spartak, **Viktor Pachkalin**, assessed the transfer of forward **Daniil Gutik** to the red-and-white team as a result of a trade with Admiral.
“This is a fantastic acquisition for Spartak. First of all, he’s a right-handed shooter and a scoring player, which is always beneficial when a player can find the back of the net. With Ruzhichka leaving, I believe Gutik will integrate perfectly into the first line alongside Poryadin and Morozov. Secondly, he has a solid understanding of the game, possesses the ability to maneuver, and is quite strong, skilled, and versatile in offensive play. The Spartak management has executed a well-thought-out plan here. They’ve traded away players who really need game time in the KHL to develop. The competition at Spartak is very intense, while in Vladivostok, they’ll have the opportunity to make a name for themselves. The key is to work hard, believe in themselves, and strive for a spot in the main roster; everything will fall into place for them,” Pachkalin told Championship correspondent Vladimir Laevsky.
