The sporting director of Boca Juniors, Marcelo Delgado, addressed the reports of Moscow’s CSKA showing interest in their winger, Ezequiel Zeballos. Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov stated that CSKA is in discussions with Boca Juniors regarding the 23-year-old forward.

“No one from CSKA has reached out to us about Zeballos,” Delgado was quoted as saying by Match TV.

Additionally, foreign media outlets have reported that Spartak Moscow is also keen on Zeballos. It was highlighted that the red-and-whites offered the Argentine club approximately $9 million (€7.7 million) for the player’s transfer.

Zeballos is a product of Boca Juniors’ youth system. He has made 127 appearances for the senior team across all competitions, contributing 15 goals and 13 assists. The player’s current contract with the club runs until the end of 2026. According to data from Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €7 million.
