Today, August 22, marks the beginning of the 2025 Women’s Volleyball World Championship. “Championship” invites you to check out the complete schedule for the day’s matches.

Schedule for the Women’s Volleyball World Championship on August 22 (Moscow time):

12:00 PM – Puerto Rico vs. France;
12:00 PM – Czech Republic vs. Argentina;
1:00 PM – Netherlands vs. Sweden;
1:00 PM – Belgium vs. Cuba;
3:30 PM – Brazil vs. Greece;
3:30 PM – USA vs. Slovenia;
4:30 PM – Thailand vs. Egypt;
4:30 PM – Italy vs. Slovakia.

For the first time in the history of the World Volleyball Championships, there will be 32 teams participating instead of the usual 24. During the group stage, teams are divided into eight groups of four. Each national team will compete against the other three teams in their group before advancing to the playoffs.
