Verstappen Reflects on Mixed Practice Performance Ahead of Las Vegas GP

The Red Bull driver, Max Verstappen, shared his thoughts on the first two practice sessions of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. In the initial session, the Dutch racer secured the fourth fastest time, while in the second, he placed ninth.

“The car’s balance was decent, but we still need to fine-tune the setup and improve grip. The track kept getting better with each session, so we were focused on figuring out how to make the most of the tires for qualifying and the race. The session was interrupted, which posed some challenges, but everyone was in the same boat. This circuit is unlike others with a similar downforce level: it’s much cooler here, and the surface is quite slippery. Good lap times at other tracks don’t necessarily translate to speed here, so we’ll see how it goes tomorrow,” Verstappen stated, according to a press release from Red Bull.
