In the quarterfinals, she defeated Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina with a score of 6:3, 6:3.

– You have never lost here. You’ve won the tournament three times. How do you explain this remarkable achievement?
– I believe I have a unique bond with the Chinese fans. Every time I play here, I feel at home. Honestly, it’s just incredible, – Sabalenka stated in a post-match interview on the court.

To secure a place in the final of the Wuhan WTA 1000 event, Arina Sabalenka will compete against American player Jessica Pegula.
