On May 15, the film “Loyal Friend” premiered in Russia. The dramatic feature is now available for viewing in the country’s theaters, presented in the familiar Russian dubbing.

The story follows a girl named Iris, who, after the death of her closest friend, inherits his literary works and becomes the new guardian of his faithful dog, Apollo. Together, they navigate their shared grief and embark on a healing journey.

The leading roles are portrayed by Bill Murray (“Groundhog Day”) and Naomi Watts (“Mulholland Drive”). The film is directed and co-written by Scott McGehee and David Siegel, known for “City Island.”
