A 30-year-old individual was transported to a hospital following a shooting incident in south-east London.

Authorities received notifications about the shooting on Bexleyheath Broadway at 02:15 GMT.

Emergency responders provided immediate care for a gunshot injury to the victim before he was subsequently taken to the hospital. The Metropolitan Police mentioned that they were waiting for information regarding his health status.

A 35-year-old suspect was apprehended on charges of attempted murder at the location, as reported by the police. He was also taken to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
