Sixty Firefighters Unite to Combat Data Centre Inferno in East London

Numerous firefighters successfully put out a blaze that ignited in the basement of a data center located in east London.

According to the London Fire Brigade (LFB), approximately 60 firefighters along with eight fire engines were dispatched to Nutmeg Lane in Blackwall at 4:50 AM GMT on Saturday.

The fire originated in a battery room housing lead-acid batteries and was contained before 7:00 AM. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Firefighting teams from Poplar, Millwall, Plaistow, Stratford, East Ham, and East Greenwich responded to the situation, LFB reported.
