Shanghai Dragons Jake Bischoff Reflects on the SKA Arena: Is It the Best in His Career?

Defenseman of the Shanghai Dragons, **[Jake Bischoff](#)**, commented on the SKA Arena—home venue of the Chinese team this season—following their victory over SKA (7-4) in a Kontinental Hockey League regular season match.

“It was amazing. We worked hard and played well, so it felt great to achieve our first win in our very first game. The arena is incredible. Is it the best I’ve ever been to? To be honest, it’s hard to say. There are great arenas in North America too, and I’ve only been to two in Russia so far. But our arena truly is wonderful,” Bischoff stated during his conversation with Championat reporter Rustam Imamov.

As a reminder, during the offseason, KHL’s Kunlun Red Star underwent a rebranding and changed its name to the Shanghai Dragons. The Chinese team has also relocated to Saint Petersburg and will play the 2025/2026 KHL season at the SKA Arena, while SKA will host its games at the Ice Palace.
