Severe Rail Disruptions: Euston Services Stalled by Blaze in North London

Significant disruption is affecting all train services between Euston station and Watford Junction due to a fire in north London.

Approximately 60 firefighters are working to control the blaze at a commercial property located on Regent’s Park Road in Chalk Farm, according to the London Fire Brigade.

Currently, half of the single-story structure is engulfed in flames, prompting the closure of Adelaide Road between Winchester Road and Haverstock Hill.

National Rail has announced that travelers should anticipate substantial delays lasting until at least 15:00 GMT, and Avanti West Coast is recommending that passengers consider using their tickets with other train operators. Additionally, London Northwestern Railway services have been suspended from Euston.

Southern trains are not operating between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction until further notice, and London Overground routes from Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford and from Gospel Oak to Barking may also experience disruptions.
