Schwartzman Reflects on Disappointing Race Exit During IndyCars Road America Event

Russian-Israeli driver **Robert Shwartzman**, competing for Prema Racing in the American **IndyCar** series, commented on his early exit from the ninth race of the season at the Road America track after sliding into the gravel.

“It was a very disappointing end to the weekend. We managed to improve the car slightly, but during the second practice session, we encountered an issue: something went wrong during braking, which caused me to lock up the rear wheels and spin out. We didn’t fully understand what was going on, and this problem reappeared during the race. I had a decent start, but when I was defending against Rinus [VeeKay], I ended up locking the rear wheels again and lost control. It was quite odd. Some weekends go well, while others don’t. Overall, this one was better, but we simply need to learn from this and make progress for the next event,” Shwartzman’s words were reported by the team’s **press service**.
