Russian Athletes Unite to Sing National Anthem While Vacationing in Turkey

Russian athletes performed the national anthem while on vacation in Turkey. Among those singing the anthem were skier Yulia Emelyanova, skier Alexander Legkov, hockey players Alexander Ovechkin, Yegor Yakovlev, and Alexander Burmistrov, footballers Roman Zobnin and Georgy Shchennikov, tennis player Anastasia Myskina, and basketball player Vitaly Fridzon.

Earlier, 39-year-old Alexander Ovechkin, the captain of the Washington Capitals, shared a video on his Telegram channel showcasing his time off at a restaurant with family and friends. In the clip, Ovechkin attempted to take the place of the establishment’s regular chef and, under their supervision, tried to serve his loved ones from a distance.
