Rooted in Support: Korostelyov Celebrates Vykhukins Sprint Qualification Victory

Russian skier **[Saveliy Korostelyov](https://example.com)** reacted to the surprising victory of Russian biathlete **Andrey Vyukhin**, who won the qualification round for the sprint freestyle event in Kirovochepetsk during the fifth stage of the 2025/2026 Russian Cup in cross-country skiing.

“KHAHHAHHHAHHAHHAHAHAH,” Korostelyov posted on his social media, expressing his longstanding support for Vyukhin since childhood.

Vyukhin completed the distance in 2:58.90, securing first place. Denis Filimonov finished in second, just 1.03 seconds behind, while Alexey Rasputin claimed third place with a gap of 1.16 seconds. Notably, two-time Olympic bronze medalist from Beijing, Russian skier Alexander Terentyev, did not advance to the next round, finishing in 31st place in the prologue, which prevented him from qualifying for the quarter-finals.
