Universal Pictures has unveiled an extensive IMAX trailer for the adaptation of the animated film “How to Train Your Dragon.” The remake of the beloved DreamWorks classic is set to premiere on **June 13, 2025**.

“How to Train Your Dragon” will tell the story of the friendship between a boy and a dragon, which leads to a reconciliation between the winged creatures and their longtime foes—the Vikings.
The lead role in this upcoming adaptation is played by Mason Thames (“For All Mankind”), while his female counterpart is portrayed by Nico Parker, known for her role as Sarah in the series “The Last of Us.” Gerard Butler reprises his role as Stoick the Viking, a character he voiced in the original animated film. Directing the project is Dean DeBlois, who was also involved in the original films.
