Milenko Bogicevic Joins Serbian National Team as Assistant Coach

The head coach of Saratov’s “Avtodor,” Milenko Bogicevic, has been appointed as an assistant to Dusan Alimpijevic in the Serbian national team.

“It’s gratifying that Milenko Bogicevic has earned a spot in the coaching staff of one of the world’s top teams through his successful work at our club. We recognize how significant this opportunity is for him, which is why we couldn’t hold him back. It’s important to note that Bogicevic will only be with the national team during the FIBA international windows, so the training routine of “Avtodor” won’t be affected,” stated Oleg Rodionov, the president of “Avtodor,” as reported by the club’s press service.

Interestingly, Alimpijevic served as the head coach of “Avtodor” from 2018 to 2019. Bogicevic has held the position of head coach for “Avtodor” since 2023.
