Martina Navratilova Offers Advice to Amanda Anisimova Following US Open 2025 Final Loss

Eighteen-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one, **Martina Navratilova**, shared her thoughts on Amanda Anisimova’s defeat in the 2025 **US Open** final against Belarusian player Aryna Sabalenka (3:6, 6:7 (3:7)).

“Emotionally, she was doing fine, but she was still somewhat off. I believe she needs to be kinder to herself. That’s it… She is such a perfectionist and gets disappointed too easily; she needs to keep a more positive mindset,” Navratilova remarked in an interview with Sky Sports.

As a reminder, in July, Amanda Anisimova lost to Polish player Iga Swiatek in the Wimbledon 2025 final, with a score of 0:6, 0:6.
