Man Appears in Court for the Brutal Murder of 37-Year-Old Victoria Adams in Hammersmith Flat

A man accused of fatally assaulting a woman with a mallet has faced court proceedings on charges of murder.

Victoria Adams, aged 37, was discovered lifeless in her apartment in Hammersmith, west London, on February 9th.

During the proceedings at the Old Bailey, Prosecutor Peter Ratliff stated that Ms. Adams had sustained at least ten distinct injuries to the back and side of her head due to being hit with a blunt instrument.

Apapale Adoum, 39, who has no fixed residence, attended the Old Bailey via video connection from Wandsworth Prison for his initial hearing. Judge Nigel Lickley KC scheduled a plea hearing for August 26th and set a tentative trial date for three weeks commencing on March 23, 2026.

Mr. Adoum has been ordered to remain in custody.
