Karen Khachanov: A Bold Prediction for 2026 – A New Grand Slam Champion Awaits Beyond Alcaraz and Sinner

Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov, currently ranked 17th in the world, suggested that by the 2026 season, the champions of the Grand Slam tournaments might not be Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner.

“I believe that over the past two years, Jannik and Carlos have claimed victory in all the Grand Slam tournaments, so I would consider it bold to predict that someone other than them will win a major this year,” Khachanov said, according to Tennis TV.

Since 2023, Alcaraz has secured titles at six Grand Slam events, missing only the Australian Open, while Sinner has won four titles, with the French Open being the only tournament he hasn’t captured during this time.
