“I’m pleased with how we played; everyone is mentally prepared to fight. The entire team performed well, but we were just a bit unlucky. We need to reflect on what we can improve and not let this setback discourage us,” Marchenko said, according to the official NHL website.

In the National Hockey League regular season game, the Columbus Blue Jackets faced off against the New Jersey Devils. The match took place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, ending with a victory for the visitors, 3-2. Columbus will face the Colorado Avalanche in their next game on October 17.
