The 35-year-old Italian goalkeeper of Juventus, Carlo Pinsoglio, sustained an injury during a training session on October 14, as reported by the club’s official website.

An X-ray examination revealed a tear of moderate to severe extent in the medial gastrocnemius muscle of his left leg. The player is scheduled to undergo a follow-up examination in two weeks to determine the exact recovery timeline.

Pinsoglio serves as the backup goalkeeper for Juventus and has yet to play a match for the team this season.

After six matches in Serie A, Juventus is currently in fourth place in the league standings with 12 points, trailing the leaders, Napoli, by three points.
