Eddie Hearn, the promoter of two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, shared his thoughts on the Brit’s upcoming opponent.

“The name Tony Yoka keeps coming up. I’m not sure where it originated, but he is on the list. Joshua won’t fight Fury, Usyk, Dubois, Parker, or Itauma. However, it will be a respectable match, even if it’s not among the top five.

As for Martin Bakole, I believe that fight is a possibility, though it’s not an easy one. There’s also the Nigerian Efe Ajagba, which would be another great matchup,” Hearn told talkSPORT.

In his most recent outing in September 2024, Joshua suffered a knockout loss to fellow countryman Daniel Dubois.
