Transport for London (TfL) has announced that a segment of the Metropolitan line will remain closed until 9 November due to a track fault.

The issue is located at Baker Street, resulting in the suspension of services between Baker Street and Aldgate for the week, allowing engineers to address the problem without causing excessive congestion on the line.

Passengers should anticipate minor delays on the remainder of the line. TfL recommends switching at Baker Street for services on the Bakerloo, Circle, and Hammersmith & City lines, or utilizing the Jubilee line from either Finchley Road or Baker Street.

Travelers are also encouraged to allocate additional time for their journeys and make use of the TfL journey planner.
