The Metropolitan Police are searching for a 22-year-old man in connection with the deadly stabbing of a teenager in north London.

Fifteen-year-old Adam Henry was discovered with severe injuries on the afternoon of December 9 in Westbourne Road, Islington, and succumbed to his wounds later in the hospital.

Authorities believe the individual depicted in the photographs, identified as Abdel Derdour, was seen fleeing the scene toward Caledonian Road.

In addition to this, a 20-year-old man named Tsidi Winion from Camden has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. His trial is scheduled for August 6, 2026.

Police describe Mr. Derdour as being 5 feet 8 inches tall (172 cm), of mixed descent, with a slim physique. He is in his twenties and was last observed sporting a moustache and facial hair.

According to the police, he is known to go by several aliases.

Investigators believe there might be witnesses who interacted with the suspect and are calling on them to come forward.

Ch Supt Jason Stewart, who oversees policing in Islington, stated: “Adam’s family has endured an unimaginable tragedy, and we are convinced that someone must possess information that could assist us in holding those accountable accountable.”

“If you have come across this man in the days following Adam’s death, we implore you to reach out. Even the slightest piece of information may provide the crucial lead our detectives need urgently.”

He also noted that current intelligence indicates the suspect often visits Holborn and nearby regions.

For those preferring to report information anonymously, they are encouraged to contact Crimestoppers.
