Roadways in central London have been reopened after a vehicle collision occurred at Piccadilly Circus on Sunday morning.

A black BMW sustained significant damage, rolling onto its roof and ending up adjacent to the Criterion Theatre and the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, famously known as the Eros statue.

Emergency services responded to the scene around 05:30 BST and conducted an investigation, though no arrests have been made at this time.

The driver and a passenger, both 22 years old, were transported to the hospital, but their injuries were later deemed not life-threatening.
