Two individuals have been apprehended on murder charges following the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man in south-west London.
The Metropolitan Police were alerted to a stabbing incident on Hanworth Road, Hounslow, at 14:21 BST on Sunday.
Emergency responders provided treatment for the man’s stab wounds before transporting him to a hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. His family is currently receiving support from specialized officers.
The police have confirmed that two men, aged 27 and 37, are in custody and being interrogated regarding the incident.
Superintendent James Rawlinson commented, “We recognize the significant impact this tragic event has had on the community and have assigned officers to conduct reassurance patrols to address any concerns you may have.
“Residents can expect to see a heightened police presence as we continue our investigation.
